WHAT WE DO
FOOTBALLCOMPETITION
From 2018, Football competition among all villages making up Okposi was introduced. It was born out of the need to reach out and engage the youth. It is our way of sustaining unity, love and peace of our community as well as engaging the youths in a responsible and sustainable way thereby reducing crime in society. The first edition started on 15th December 2018 and culminated with the final day of the Medical Outreach on 28th December, 2018.
All 12 football teams participating in the tournament were kitted and fully sponsored by OCGUF. Trophy, medals and cash prizes were presented to winners at team and individual levels. This is planned to be an annual event going forward.
